A crucial contribution to a distributed Energiewende

The company Caterva GmbH, founded in 2013, is a limited company with registered office in the town of Pullach im Isartal, Munich area, Germany. With our large-scale virtual energy storage system, we have created the required flexibility needed to sustainably promote the Energiewende. We are inspiring homeowners to completely cover their power requirements from their own generation and storage system.

Caterva is a spin-off of Siemens AG, which today is a shareholder in Caterva.

A great number of distributed power storage units is more than any large-scale power plant.

The future belongs to renewable and distributed energy. We at Caterva are making the distributed Energiewende possible. With Siemens as investor and technological partner. With the first solar power storage system that pays off and makes solar energy a calculable variable. For the individual owner of a solar power system, as well as for the general public. For a clean environment and a future worth living. And so that we can all profit from the Energiewende.

Future and tradition are sometimes closely related. Our basis is innovation power from Bavaria – the Silicon Valley of Europe. Our passion is engineering art – combined with extraordinary programming capability. The Caterva Energy Management System makes the deciding difference.

But where do we plan to go? We intend to be the largest European energy manager for distributed energy storage systems. In this way, we can make a major contribution – for all at once making a small variable out of some or other major conventional power plant.

Acting together in a team is also a significant energy medium.

The future belongs to renewable energy media – and this is exactly why we are promoting sustainable and distributed energy structures with the same passion that we carry out constructive working and living with each other. In reflection and daily learning, we experience what our customers really need and then provide them with outstanding, simple, and functioning solutions. In these efforts, we are always ready to discard intermediate results and to start anew. We do what we say, and we enjoy our work. And this charges us with energy – as does open, appreciative, and fair communication.

The Energiewende can also be your future.
